Ian has had almost thirty years experience in selling real estate in Maleny. Once up on a time Ian was a fine arts dealer in Melbourne with galleries in Carlton and Armidale before moving back to the family farm in Guyra in the New England District of New South Wales. One misty day thirty years ago Ian discovered Maleny, enamoured with the village he decided to sell up the farm. In 1989 he bought the “Old Fire Station” building where he opened his first real estate office. Later he subdivided the block and with his wife, Patricia, bought the “Old Post Office” from where Humphries & Fisk operate to-day. Ian has had many, many years experience in Maleny real estate including buying, selling and assisting developers and can well understand the needs of buyers and sellers. Ian believes that consistency, hard work, honesty, never giving up and a willingness to go the “extra mile” are the necessary ingredients to achieve the best result.
